Warehouse Supervisor

Our client, which is a leading FMCG distribution company based in Dubai, is currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of their warehouse. The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure the efficient and safe handling of goods, maintain inventory accuracy, supervise a team of warehouse staff, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving processes.
2. Monitor inventory levels, track product movement, and assist with inventory control to minimize discrepancies.
3. Ensure the safe operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
4. Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed.
5. Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
6. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
7. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on safety procedures, equipment handling, and best practices.
8. Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, productivity metrics, and safety compliance.
9. Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
10. Resolve any issues or concerns related to warehouse activities, addressing employee performance or safety concerns promptly.
11. Participate in performance reviews, provide feedback, and assist in employee development.

Qualifications:

1. A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
2. Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
3. Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
4. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
5. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
6. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
