Job Overview: The Warehouse Supervisor role will supervise the overall functions of the Warehouse with competent manpower and well-maintained equipment to ensure the Sales team is served in line with company objectives. Be the link between 3PL, Sales, and other Functions in achieving day-to-day objectives and ensure timely escalation of events/issues that need to be addressed. Apart from warehouse supervision, also handle the UAE Delivery function, majorly responsible for leading a team of frontline employees to deliver orders to customers across the UAE in a fast-paced direct delivery environment.
Responsibilities
- Issue accurate reports on slow/non-moving inventories and ensure it is issued according to FEFO guidelines or to an agreed liquidation plan.
- Follow up on Pending Orders for shipments for all channels in order of priorities set by sales and in line with company processes.
- Ensure all daily and monthly reports including KPI/Standards are issued accurately and on time.
- Track KPI reports and reason out any deviation from the targets and take appropriate measures to avoid errors.
- Track freshness of products by ensuring all FEFO procedures are followed by scrapping QA rejections, in-house expiry, production defects, and stales from the market in time and with proper documentation. Coordinate with HR, 3PL, and Municipality for destruction. Further coordinate with Freight and Transporter to dispose of stales. Ensure the same transactions are reflected in 3PL inventory records to avoid incremental storage charges.
- Follow up on the Inventory process tracking, physical count, and reporting of inventory variance. Carry out periodic Inventory reconciliation with 3PL, create and post Inventory Adjustment documents in coordination with the Finance Control team.
- Daily follow-up on in-bound/out-bound shipments with the Planning team. Prioritize low inventory items aiming for higher Demand Compliance by extending the service time with 3PL.
- Coordinate with the BIS team and 3PL IT team to rectify any failed Interface transactions.
- Process Returns in SAP on a daily basis and verify the data in SAP before forwarding the documents to Finance. Process Sales Returns (Stales and Production Damages) to facilitate returns from Salesmen.
- Coordinate with Trade Marketing, Sales, and 3PL for receiving, storage, and issuance of POS materials including Display Racks.
- Ensure all Food Safety standards are followed by regular checks.
- Stock in Transit should be monitored regularly and cleared in coordination with the receiving Plant/DC and Freight.
- All Incidents should be reported in time and with correct documentation.
- Implement, sustain, and participate in the continual improvement of the OH&S Management System (MS) at the area of responsibility in accordance with the legislations, PepsiCo GEHSMS, and relevant EHS standards, ensuring proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with all activities/areas are in place and OH&S targets are achieved.
- Focus on the productivity program.
- Run weekly COSO to capture all abnormal movements.
Qualifications
- Minimum three to four years in a Warehousing supply chain role with experience in cross-functional positions, preferably in FMCG business.
- Holding a degree in Commerce, Finance, or Technical studies.
- Qualification in supply chain/warehousing management.
- A self-motivated person with the ability to identify, initiate, and implement corrective actions.
- Highly effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Apply flexible thinking while problem-solving in a systematic manner.
- Broad planning and cross-functional understanding.
