Position Summary and Purpose
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for handling the movement, storage, and inventory management of materials and finished goods within the warehouse. This includes receiving, organizing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and efficient coordination with other departments to support smooth warehouse operations.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations
   • Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
   • Organize stock within the warehouse for easy accessibility and efficient movement.
   • Pick and pack orders accurately for timely dispatch.
   • Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and arrangement of inventory.
   • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanning devices.
2. Inventory Management
   • Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
   • Maintain updated records of stock movements and transactions.
   • Identify discrepancies in inventory levels and report issues to management.
   • Assist in maintaining optimal stock levels to meet business demands.
3. Safety and Compliance
   • Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and company regulations.
   • Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, if applicable.
   • Keep the warehouse clean and organized to ensure a safe working environment.
   • Participate in safety training and emergency response drills.
4. Coordination and Reporting
   • Work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
   • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding stock levels, damages, or operational issues.
   • Prepare and submit daily warehouse activity reports.

Skills and Qualifications
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional certifications in warehouse management, logistics, or forklift operation are a plus.
Experience:
• 2-4 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Experience in the plastic manufacturing industry is preferred.
Technical Skills:
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in warehouse management software.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and best practices.
Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
• Requires regular standing, lifting, and moving of heavy materials.
• Exposure to varying warehouse conditions, including temperature fluctuations.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols, including wearing protective gear as required.
