Warehouse Operations Manager

Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping.

Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Plan and coordinate warehouse layout and storage capacity to maximize space utilization and minimize inventory handling costs.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures, and promote a culture of safety among warehouse staff.

Lead, coach, and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to optimize performance and foster a positive work environment.

Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination of warehouse activities.

Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and supplies.

Prepare and manage warehouse budgets, forecasts, and expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.

Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in warehouse management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in warehouse management or operations management, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and objectives.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and logistics processes.

Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
