Role Overview

The Warehouse & Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution to ensure products are stored and delivered efficiently, safely, and on time. This role focuses on cost control, process optimization, and service improvement while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
2. Ensure efficient warehouse space utilization and layout optimization.
3. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and cycle counts.
4. Implement and enforce health & safety regulations in warehouse operations.
5. Manage order fulfillment and transportation to ensure on-time delivery.
6. Optimize route planning and fleet utilization for cost efficiency.
7. Work closely with logistics partners, 3PL providers, and transport teams.
8. Monitor and improve DIFOT (Delivered In Full, On Time) performance.
9. Track and analyze warehouse and logistics costs, identifying savings opportunities.
10. Implement lean processes and best practices for efficiency improvements.
11. Develop and monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, delivery performance, and warehouse productivity.
12. Lead and train warehouse and distribution staff, ensuring high performance.
13. Develop work schedules and labor planning to meet operational needs.
14. Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements

1. Bachelors degree in supply chain, Logistics, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution management.
3. Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems, inventory control, and logistics planning.
4. Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel (advanced), or other analytics tools for data-driven decision-making.
5. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
