Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall management and supervision of all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing auto spare parts. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient and cost-effective warehouse operations that meet customer demands and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all warehouse activities: This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of auto spare parts.
2. Manage warehouse staff: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of warehouse workers, including pickers, packers, and drivers.
3. Maintain inventory accuracy: Implement and oversee inventory control procedures, including cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation of inventory records.
4. Optimize warehouse space: Plan and implement efficient warehouse layout and storage strategies to maximize space utilization and minimize handling costs.
5. Ensure warehouse safety and security: Maintain a safe and secure working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and security measures.
6. Manage warehouse equipment: Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
7. Coordinate with other departments: Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and transportation departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery of orders.
8. Track and analyze warehouse performance: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, and warehouse costs.
9. Develop and implement process improvements: Continuously identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
10. Stay updated on industry best practices: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in warehouse management and logistics.
