The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our facility, including overseeing inventory, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills to ensure smooth operations and support our overall business goals.
Inventory Management:
Oversee the receipt, storage, and organization of broadcast equipment and materials, maintaining outstanding store condition and merchandising standards.
Manage inventory levels to ensure stock is always available when needed.
Coordinate with suppliers and the purchasing team to reorder items as necessary.
Work closely with Engineering Manager and Logistic Manager to document and implement proper inventory tracking procedures and optimize inventory accuracy and create reporting that interface with Engineers and Logistic to reconcile any inventory exceptions/issues.
Initiate purchase requisitions for the regular consumables in OB kits, and make sure optimal quantity is ordered. Notify Engineering Team on expected delivery timelines.
Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.
Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
Provide training on safety procedures, equipment handling, and inventory management.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
Operations Oversight:
Ensure the smooth flow of equipment from receiving to dispatch, supporting the broader team with on-time deliveries.
Ensure compliance with organization policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
Monitor and report on operational metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
Assist with loading/unloading, sorting, and preparing equipment for distribution or return.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure all broadcast equipment is stored properly and is in good condition.
Assist with routine checks and minor maintenance of equipment as required.
Administer and identify any missing (if any) inventory or equipment(s) that is broken, requires repair and investigate and record reasons and report to the GM and Management.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory.
Assist in preparing regular reports for senior management on stock levels, equipment movements, and operational performance.
Audit internal locations and reconcile regularly home locations in the database, inspect discrepancies, and coordinate with Engineering Manager to rectify these.
Qualification / Requirements:
Proven experience in warehouse management, operations, or inventory control. Experience in the broadcast or media industry is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Leadership skills and experience managing a team.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and general warehouse operations.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or overtime if needed.
