Warehouse & Logistics Driver - Engineering

Job Purpose

At Engineering Warehouse & Logistics (EWL), we ensure Emirates Maintenance teams have timely and accurate access to spares and tools. Our comprehensive services cover receiving, stocking, issuing, and delivering essential components.

Integral to the broader Supply Chain, EWL expertly manages the Warehouse & Logistics functions for Emirates Airlines aircraft materials and tools. Rely on us for efficient, reliable support that keeps your maintenance operations running smoothly.

In This Role, You Will:

• Drive motor vehicles, pickup trucks, delivery vans, towing tractors, club cars, and forklifts within airside and landside areas in relation to the assigned EWL section.
• Load and unload tools and materials and transport the goods to customers within UAE (DXB/DWC) efficiently and effectively in order to meet agreed SLA with customers.
• Prepare and maintain a record of all vehicular trips to customer locations and carry out system transactions (on Handheld Device) related to the material movement between collection and delivery points.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Engineering Procedure Manual (EPM) are followed at all times while adhering to safety policy/procedure and road rules to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

• 1+ Year Engineering experience
• 10 Years schooling or equivalent
• Minimum one year of driving experience.
• Knowledge/skills: A valid UAE manual heavy vehicle drivers licence (Category 4), basic English language skills, and physical fitness. Airside Driving Permit (ADP) would be an added advantage.

Day/night (shift roster): 12 hour working day or, Day hours only - 8.5 hour working day (General Shift) based on the Business Requirements
Other (Driving licence): A valid UAE manual heavy vehicle drivers licence (Category 4) Yes
