Warehouse Inventory Supervisor

JOB CONTENT & OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to join our modular manufacturing facility. The Warehouse Supervisor's primary responsibility is to make sure the correct materials are available for the production at the correct time and in the correct quantities based on the production schedule. The supervisor must also safeguard all materials and ensure all transactions are properly updated in the ERP system.

DETAILED ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inventory Management: Ensure accurate tracking, labelling, and organization of materials, maintaining updated records in the ERP system
• Material Planning:Calculate and plan material requirements at the beginning of each project, in collaboration with production and procurement teams, to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Stock Monitoring and Reordering:Monitor inventory levels to anticipate potential shortages and place reorders well in advance to maintain a continuous supply of materials.
• Material Handling & Storage: Supervise the receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of raw materials, consumables, and tools in line with company protocols.
• Team Leadership: Manage and train storekeepers, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering a productive environment
• Safety and Compliance:Enforce safety protocols and ensure the store adheres to workplace safety regulations and company policies.
• Process Optimization:Continuously evaluate and improve store operations to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and support production demands effectively.
• System Updates: Maintain accurate and timely updates in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion) for all inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and consumptions.

BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in factory store supervision
• Knowledge of materials in construction field and their uses
• Strong Computer knowledge is a must
• Clear English communication is a must
• Knowledge in stock replenishment, purchase orders, purchase requests, delivery notes.
