Warehouse Assistant /Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

1. Move inventory and materials across facilities.
2. Process inventory for delivery.
3. Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location.
4. Package items and label correctly.
5. Scan delivered items and ensure quality.
6. Enter data into computer systems to keep stock inventory up to date.
7. Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
8. Stack and organize large bulk items.
9. Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and deliver to the proper location.
10. Update logs and documentation for inventory processing.
11. Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations.
12. Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.
13. Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles.
14. Work as an active team member to complete team goals.
15. Prepare documentation and inventory for audits.
16. Pay attention to detail and monitor the quality of inventory.
17. Manage stock levels and place orders for new materials where required.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Degree or equivalent OR High school diploma.
2. Proven 2-4 years’ experience working as a warehouse helper/assistant.
3. Sound knowledge of standard warehouse practices.
4. Proficient in the use of warehouse inventory management software.
5. Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift.
6. Physically able to lift up to 50 KG or more.
7. Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays (if required).
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and independently.
10. Keep the warehouse area clean, tidy, and free from unnecessary hazards to uphold health and safety.
11. Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state.
