Warehouse Assistant (O&G, Inventory)

Job Summary:

Working in warehouse; supports day-to-day operations under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, receiving, checking, recording, organizing, and storing stock as it is received. Taking inventories of stock and products, ensuring that they are safely and properly stored. Dispatching and loading goods out of the warehouse for delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Complete daily logs into inventory
• Report any discrepancies found to supervisor.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain, organize, and complete the housekeeping and cleanliness of the warehouse and area assigned by the supervisor/team leader.
• Follow the HSEQ rules and meet/help the team to achieve HSEQ objectives set by the management.
• Provide a minimum of one HSE and one quality observation card to meet HSEQ objectives.
• Sustain the 5S process in the warehouse and the area assigned by management.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Pre-Degree or above
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse and logistics environment, preferably in oil and gas
• The candidate should be physically strong to lift heavy objects; a forklift license is required. Good English speaking and writing skills are essential.
