Warehouse Assistant

About the Role
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will report to the Warehouse Manager and support the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. You will assist with receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching event materials while ensuring accurate inventory management and compliance with safety regulations.

What You’ll Do

1. Assist with Warehouse Operations: Support receiving, organizing, and dispatching event equipment and materials.
2. Maintain Accurate Inventory: Label and track all incoming and outgoing equipment to ensure up-to-date records.
3. Support Procurement Coordination: Assist in preparing and tracking procurement requests for event materials.
4. Ensure Equipment Maintenance: Check, clean, and report on the condition of all event equipment.
5. Load & Unload Materials: Manage the movement of event-related items to and from the warehouse.
6. Coordinate with Event Teams: Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and event teams to meet delivery schedules.
7. Uphold Health & Safety Standards: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.
8. Assist with Supplier Coordination: Help with receiving and checking deliveries from suppliers.
9. Prepare for Events: Pack and prepare equipment for transportation to event venues, ensuring all items are in working order.
10. Support On-Site Logistics: Assist with event setup and breakdown when required.

About You

1. Detail-Oriented & Organized: You take pride in keeping things in order and ensuring nothing is overlooked.
2. Physically Capable: Comfortable with lifting, moving, and handling heavy materials.
3. Team Player: Able to work well under the direction of the Warehouse Manager and collaborate with other teams.
4. Reliable & Punctual: You deliver work on time and meet deadlines with consistency.
5. Proactive & Solution-Focused: You anticipate operational needs and solve problems quickly.

What You Need to Apply

1. Proven experience as a Warehouse Assistant or in a similar logistics support role.
2. Understanding of inventory tracking and warehouse management practices.
3. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (in line with safety standards).
4. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
5. Valid driver’s license preferred.
6. Willingness to work flexible hours and assist with on-site event support when needed.
