Greet the guest according to the standards set by Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi.
Communicate with the guest according to the standards set by Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi.
Assist the captain in presenting the menu, making recommendations, and taking orders.
Serve food and beverage items and ensure prompt service.
Follow up on billing and checking procedures.
Ensure that the buffet is kept clean and free of debris.
Coordinate and assist in the clearing of tables.
Coordinate and assist in the clearing of stations.
Coordinate and supervise the return of dirty linen.
Assist the kitchen in clearing the buffet.
Be present in the restaurant during service hours.
Ensure that the captain is kept informed of all guest comments and complaints.
Attend communication meetings, briefings, and training sessions as required by the restaurant manager, training manager, and food and beverage manager.
Keep uniform neat and clean and ensure good personal grooming and hygiene in accordance with the standards of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi.
Any other duties assigned by your Supervisor or Manager.
Skills And Requirements
Certification or Diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred.
Previous standalone restaurant experience is preferred; resort experience will be a plus.
Passionate about guest service with an engaging personality.
