Waiter / Waitress (6-months contract)

Job Description

We are currently looking for dynamic and self-motivated Food & Beverage professionals who want to move their careers forward.

Position: Waiter / Waitress

As a Waiter / Waitress, you are responsible for providing professional service to our guests, ensuring their restaurant visit will become a memorable dining experience. Your key responsibilities include:

1. Perform all necessary tasks to service food and beverage according to the standard of performance manual of the hotel.
2. Greet and seat customers and serve them in a professional, discreet, and personalized way.
3. Acquire in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu of the assigned outlet to assist and provide advice to guests.
4. Consistently monitor the quality of food & beverage being served.
5. Practice good customer relations and attend to customer complaints/queries satisfactorily.
6. Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet and upkeep all service equipment.
7. Responsible for all service preparations before, during, and after the service (mis-en-place and mis-en-scene).
8. Ensure minimum wastage, breakage, and spoilage.
9. Actively use upselling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.

Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should ideally have a diploma/degree in hospitality or vocational training in food & beverage with previous experience as a Waiter / Waitress in a high-volume restaurant. A good command of English and additional skills, such as guest service and interpersonal skills, are essential.
