In consultation with the Senior Waiter or Dining Room Supervisor/Manager to ensure customer satisfaction by establishing and maintaining a good relationship with the client, as per UNF’s policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applies and follows the contractual obligations, UNF’s policies and procedures.
Attends briefings prior to restaurant opening, well-groomed and equipped with the basic aids of operations such as pens.
Ensures a high standard of personal hygiene and adheres to standards of dress code for the position.
Completes mise-en-scene and mise-en-place before the restaurant opens.
Checks all the equipment and furniture at the station for their serviceability and maintenance.
Cleans and polishes allotted silverware, cutlery, and glassware.
Follows the daily instruction given by the Senior Waiter/Dining Room Supervisor.
Possesses a friendly but professional attitude, maintaining a good relationship with the client.
Offers dishes, promotes specials, and takes the orders.
Communicates with the Supervisors or Manager for any questions or issues or any special requests. And never says No.
Ensures the company service standards are upheld and maintained at all times.
Ensures throughout the service that all table items and condiments are replenished, and that the assigned work areas are kept clean, sanitary, and tidy following the clean as you go policy.
Adheres to the daily clean and deep cleaning schedule.
Performs other duties as directed.
Most of all, to be an Ambassador of the Restaurant.
