Join our dynamic team as a Waiter in the vibrant city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates! We're seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to provide exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our high standards of service.

1. Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
2. Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about menu items, specials, and beverages
3. Take accurate food and drink orders using our point-of-sale system
4. Communicate orders to the kitchen staff and bar team efficiently
5. Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
6. Ensure tables are set up correctly and the dining area is clean and organized
7. Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
8. Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
9. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery
10. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and any changes in offerings
11. Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
12. Assist in side work duties such as restocking supplies and cleaning assigned areas

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 1 year experience as a Waiter in a reputable hotel or restaurant
2. Strong food and beverage product knowledge
3. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
4. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
5. Proven track record of working collaboratively within a team
6. Outstanding communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
7. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
8. Basic math skills for handling bills and payments accurately
9. Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
10. Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
11. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for maintaining a clean and organized dining area
12. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
13. Food handling certification is preferred but not required
14. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is advantageous
