Waiter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional service by delivering food and beverages to our guests promptly while maintaining a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:
   Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
   Provide detailed menu information including special items and promotions.
   Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
2. Serving:
   Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
   Monitor tables and attend to guests' needs during the meal.
   Refill beverages and clear tables efficiently.
3. Cleanliness and Organization:
   Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area.
   Set up and arrange tables according to restaurant standards.
   Ensure all service stations are stocked and organized.
4. Team Collaboration:
   Work closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service.
   Assist colleagues during busy periods as needed.
5. Problem Solving:
   Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and escalate to the manager if necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress is preferred but not required.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is an advantage.
5. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Comfortable carrying trays and handling heavy items occasionally.
