VP - Private Equity

Charterhouse are working with a diversified Local Group who are looking to add an experienced VP or Principal to their Direct Investments Team. The newly created Investment Team focuses on Direct Investments across the private markets, all with a view to diversify their portfolios.

The VP will work closely with the head of the division and play a critical role in carving out and developing their investment mandate and thesis. The role will cover the full deal life cycle from origination, execution, and portfolio management of existing assets. The team covers a broad range of transactions (Primary, Secondary, Mezzanine, LBO, etc.).

This role will give a broad remit and an opportunity to work on some leading transactions on a global basis across various sectors. This role would very much suit a generalist and someone who doesn't want to be too specialized or focused with the investment mandate. The VP will gain great strategy implementation exposure and play a crucial role in building out the vision and direction of the investment team moving forward.

Minimum Requirements:

1. At least 10+ years exposure across transactions in the private markets.
2. Experience in Investment Banking is extremely beneficial.
3. Regional deal experience combined with international exposure, ideally having worked on transactions across Europe and/or North America.
