VP Design - Global Data Centers (Open to Relocation)

Position Overview: The Vice President of Design (Data Center) will lead the design and development of cutting-edge data centers globally. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in data center design, project management, and a strong commitment to sustainability and innovation. Reporting to the SVP Design and Chairperson, this role is expected to lead a team of 15+ and work on 10+ projects globally.

Base Location: Dubai

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement design strategies that align with the company's mission and business goals.
• Project Management: Oversee the entire design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Innovation: Drive innovation in data center design, incorporating the latest technologies and sustainable practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of design quality and compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored design solutions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in data center design and project management.
• Background: Come from an engineering consultancy firm.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. Proficiency in design software and tools.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, sustainability practices, and industry standards.
• Certifications: Data center related certifications will be a plus (i.e. Uptime, DCDC, CDCDP).
• Location: Must be based in Dubai, open to relocating talents.
