About the role:

The successful candidate will plan and organise the production of photography and video content, acting as the line-producer and counter-part to support agencies and production suppliers with the aim to guarantee the best possible outcome for the lowest possible investment. Interpret the creative brief to a production brief, define the scope in collaboration with stakeholders across CCM&B based on approved brief, on time and in-full, taking responsibility for supplier management and all phases of production. Escalate to the manager when there is scope creep which impacts on the creative brief, production budget and/or delivery timelines.

What You Will Do

  • Respond to briefs and participate in the creative and technical discussions while ensuring brand and product correctness. Optimise production resources to avoid duplication or wastage.
  • Streamline the workflow to facilitate prompt stakeholder approvals, internal and external permissions to execute the scope, and contracting of suppliers. Control costs during the production lifecycle when required by individual briefs.
  • Source and attain professional production partners, freelancers and creative talent who can prepare scripts, storyboards, creative treatments, capture and deliver content to meet the project brief.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce assets for brand and marketing campaigns, PR and social media content. Contribute to develop the creative concept, define the production scope and agree on the asset deliverables list as per channel specifications and facilitate the pre-production, production and post-production process.
  • Organise scouting, technical recces and manage the logistics to deliver the production requirements based on the storyboards. Manage suppliers and set parameters on the location safety to protect Emirates properties, personnel and avoid disruption in operational environments.
  • Use experience and judgement to identify, anticipate and resolve any issues in airside logistics, partnering with stakeholder, security and safety teams to manage shoots in sensitive and operational areas. Assign roles and responsibilities for admin support to ensure the photoshoot and filming permissions from Dubai Film and TV Commission, Dubai Police and airport authorities are secured in advance by ensuring the necessary paperwork in relation to security clearance for people and equipment is completed and submitted as per protocol.
  • Supervise the post-production process to deliver edited videos and images as per brand standards, providing direction for the editing team to follow the creative brief. Streamline the feedback process between multiple stakeholders to gather consensus on the finished content to deliver social media videos, stock photography and B2B content for internal channels.
  • Produce live events and develop show concepts along with the Events team to stage ceremonies, internal forums, and conferences. Provide technical expertise to plot stage drawings, lighting effects, create multimedia content, draft running orders and manage the show cues during the event.
  • Support the Manager in promoting consistency in high quality across all assets produced internally and externally. Ensure the content produced maintains the approved standards as per corporate brand guidelines.
  • Research, recommend and implement current trends in content production technology and methodology, using this knowledge to be proactive in enhancing the internal production and post-production capabilities within Visual Services, offering solutions that are apt for producing high quality content which the cross-functional teams can use for brand and marketing communications.

Qualifications & Experience

This job might be for you if you have:

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
  • 3+ years experience within a content production environment, either for a large organisation or a client- servicing agency.

You Will Have An Edge If You Have

  • Advanced skills in creative and business writing to communicate effectively, and good negotiations skills to drive production value, be cost effective without compromising on quality.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Emirates brand identity, to ensure that the current image is portrayed correctly in all visual material.
  • Hands-on in creating multimedia presentations, with a good understanding of editing applications such as the Adobe suite e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects, and MS PowerPoint.
  • A thorough understanding of the channel specific technical specifications such as video formats, aspect ratios, codecs, audio peak levels, video frame rates, etc.
  • A previous content producer role with a production agency, demonstrating their ability to work independently to define the scope, plan schedules and propose budgets.
  • An advantage if they have the core skill to balance the creative and technical challenges in event production as an extension to their content production role.
