Job Summary:

Responsible for creating the most inspiring and converting customer journey for 2XL Home and OC Home customers online. Demonstrate full awareness of brands & seasonal trends. Creating concept and market-specific activities on the E-commerce platform. Work closely with the global VM/Marketing team to secure local needs on tactical materials and being relevant to customers.

Roles & Responsibility

1. Plan the shoot for brands, Optimize the content for Market Place, Create & Edit content for the website.
2. Place transfer orders for the daily shoot requirements with the warehouse/logistics team.
3. Unpack and repack the items before & post the photoshoot in good condition.
4. Report any damaged/discrepancy items before the shoot.
5. Organize all the props & ensure the setup is finalized before the shoot.
6. Research lifestyle, demographics, and design trends.
7. Conduct research on current and future trends in design and lifestyle, and associated target market features.
8. Identify and source props, fabrics, hardware, and lighting.
9. Create visual merchandising packs to communicate visual guidelines including layout principles, visual dressings, and signage - usually applies to those based in a head office.
10. Responsible for coordinating with the e-Commerce Coordinator to plan the photoshoot in the warehouse & the showroom manager for lifestyle or bigger furniture items.
11. Support the photographer during the shoot & put all the items back as per the VM standards in the showroom.
12. Liaise with the Retail Showroom Manager, Warehouse & Logistics, VM Team, and Marketing department for any e-commerce-related requirements.
13. Perform special assignments as given by the Head of the Department.

Knowledge, Skill & Competencies required

1. Bachelor's degree in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, exhibition design, visual communications, or similar.
2. Proven 4 years of work experience as a visual merchandiser in the retail furniture industry.
3. Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio.
4. Proficiency in Photoshoot, videography, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design tools.
5. Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices.
6. Creative and innovative thinker.
7. Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports and survey results.
8. Excellent communication skills.
9. To work under pressure and meet deadlines.
