Responsibilities

1. Visual Merchandising:
   Plan and execute visually appealing product displays.
   Ensure that displays adhere to the overall merchandising strategy and brand guidelines.
   Regularly update and refresh displays to attract customer attention.
2. Product Placement:
   Work closely with the merchandising team to determine optimal product placement.
   Arrange and organize products to maximize visibility and accessibility.
3. Inventory Management:
   Monitor product inventory and communicate with the inventory team.
   Ensure that products are adequately stocked and replenished.
4. Promotions and Marketing:
   Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns.
   Develop strategies to highlight promotional items effectively.
5. Near Expiry Products:
   Monitor and identify products nearing expiration.
   Implement strategies to promote the sale of near expiry items.
   Coordinate with the inventory team to manage near expiry products in case of GRV.
6. Customer Engagement:
   Interact with customers to understand preferences and gather feedback.
   Incorporate customer insights into merchandising decisions.
7. Compliance and Standards:
   Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
   Implement and maintain merchandising best practices.

Requirements

1. Demonstrated experience as a Merchandiser in retail or hypermarket environments showcasing a creative flair and keen design sensibility.
2. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
3. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships.
4. Strong understanding of consumer behaviour and current market trends.
5. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration.
