About the Role
As a Visitor Services Host, you will be the face of the visitor experience, creating a welcoming and engaging environment for all guests. Your role is to ensure visitors feel comfortable, informed, and enriched throughout their journey. From greeting guests with warmth and enthusiasm to providing in-depth knowledge about exhibitions, cultural heritage, and available services, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional hospitality.

Whether assisting visitors with inquiries, guiding school groups, or ensuring accessibility for People of Determination, your contribution will help shape a world-class visitor experience.
Job Purpose

- Ensure an enjoyable and seamless experience by removing barriers and resolving any issues promptly.
- Share in-depth knowledge of exhibitions, events, UAE culture & history, facilities, and services.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly and create an Emirati welcoming spirit using traditional greetings.
- Ensure visitor safety inside and outside the museum.
- Monitor and report health and safety issues.
- Perform designated safety checks and report any concerns.
- Use two-way radio communication when necessary.
- Assist People of Determination by guiding them and ensuring an inclusive experience.
- Collect and handle visitor feedback.
- Operate the cloakroom facility, managing visitor belongings securely.
- Act as a fire warden in emergency situations.
- Be knowledgeable about exhibits, events, services, and facilities.
- Scan tickets and assist at information points when required.
- Support school groups and educational team operations.
- Monitor visitor behavior and escalate issues if needed.
- Rotate through different positions as assigned, including outdoor roles.
- Remain positive, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Seek opportunities to enhance visitor experience.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by Visitor Services supervisors.
Required Experience
- Customer service experience.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Preferred Experience
- Additional language skills are an advantage.
- Experience in museums or tourist attractions.
Education/Qualifications
- High school diploma (degree in tourism, history, art, museum studies, hospitality preferred).
