Nair Systems, is a DIFC based, boutique leading edge technology consulting and professional services firm focusing on Digital Banking, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data & Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Blockchain and Cryptocurrency and Robotic Process Automation.

Nair Systems is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst for our UAE operations with the following:

Technical Skills:

1. Programming and SQL language
2. Crystal reports
3. Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
4. Ability to communicate effectively with IT specialists (e.g. IT security, network infrastructure teams, etc.)

Specialist Skills:

1. Understanding of Treasury products, their workflow, and life cycle
2. Experience of working on Electronic Trading systems and/or other Treasury Products
3. Hands-on experience of implementation, configuration, and support of treasury systems (Preferably eFX/ET and Quantum treasury systems)
4. Proven track record of working experience with Treasury Front, Middle, or Back Office functions
5. Experience of defining accounting and posting rules for all Treasury products and instruments
6. Experience in UAT and stakeholder management
7. Results-oriented individual and able to work under pressure
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Experience in requirement definition and analysis, workshop facilitation, and documentation
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
11. Project Management Experience
12. Excellent communication, presentation, and consultancy skills
13. A good degree in Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience
14. Experience of working in a Bank or financial services company (Preferably Islamic Banking)

Previous Experience Required:

1. Minimum 6 Years in banking (3 years in supporting Treasury)

Key Accountabilities of the Role:

These are the main responsibilities of this role:

1. Deliver small to medium treasury projects of medium to high complexity
2. Production support for eFX, Quantum, and other Treasury systems
3. Develop MIS reports for treasury as per treasury request
4. Responsibility for initiating, managing, closing the projects and all processes such as quality/control, communication, stakeholder management, people leadership, and knowledge harvesting
5. Lead in closing the Audit, Risk, and compliance observations
6. Gathering requirements from business users for projects, tasks, operational requests, and enhancements for technical teams
7. Support for UAT of projects and tasks including preparation of documents and approvals
8. Support Go-live and post Go-live activities for assigned projects and tasks
9. Support business Users to translate Bank’s business requirements to Vendors (in technical steps) and vice-versa
10. Escalate issues and suggest corrective actions. Timely follow up on assigned Projects and tasks
11. Follow-up and track Services, Coordinate Vendor Support Issues, respond to service tickets in a timely fashion
12. Track, resolve, and report incidents and known errors through the approved processes
13. Follow the mandatory and obligatory standards set by the management in delivering the services
14. Completion of the assigned tasks to satisfy the Users needs and within the agreed upon time parameters
15. Execute the ad-hoc instructions or provide flexibility within ethical and professional standards from line manager to achieve any exceptional business objectives, Internal IT Objectives related to the group including international expansion
16. Provide First Line and Second Line Support to all the assigned applications
