The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:
- European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old
- Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

A VIE for a Crisis and Security Awareness Manager (M/F) has arisen within Airbus Africa & Middle East, in Dubai.
Within the Africa and Middle East FZE (AME) in Dubai and in close alignment with the Security Culture & Promotion team within Airbus Corporate Security, the security team aims to create a security culture for Airbus employees to engage them in the protection of our Company against physical and cyber attacks. In addition, and in close alignment with the Enterprise Crisis Management Department within Airbus Corporate Security, the AME Security team aims to support and coordinate the deployment of Crisis Management (CM) strategy in the Region, including the deployment of the CM organisation and the implementation of the CM framework.
Your mission will be to:
- For Security Culture & Promotion: engage employees in security by supporting the deployment of the yearly Corporate Security Awareness Plan in the Africa Middle East region, by proposing and rolling-out local awareness plans and initiatives adapted to the needs in a comprehensive and innovative way.
- For Crisis Management: play a vital role in enhancing Airbus & crisis preparedness, facilitating cross-functional coordination, and ensuring an effective crisis response within the Africa -Middle East region.
Your challenges:
Security Culture & Promotion
- Coordinate and drumbeat awareness projects and/or campaigns, along with the relevant stakeholders and the Airbus AME Communications department.
- Contribute to prepare and deploy Security Awareness Programmes for specific functions or groups of employees.
- Conduct tailored Security awareness sessions, physically or digitally.
- Align and coordinate Awareness activities with internal stakeholders (Communication team, Facility managers, ...).
- Participate in content creation for Security topics, to raise employees' awareness in a regular, original and positive way.
- Proofread all Security Awareness material (presentations, infographics, articles, speeches, etc).
- Support the deployment of phishing simulations campaigns for Africa - Middle East (AME) region, and related communications.
- Support the local Security team daily on awareness topics.
- The position may include some business travel in the AME region.
Crisis Management Preparation
- Coordinate the deployment of crisis management in the region cross-divisionally and support affiliates in the implementation.
- Ensure effective implementation of crisis management methods across the region, identify gaps, and improve crisis response capabilities and readiness.
- Develop and maintain crisis management documentation and tools for the AME region aligned with Corporate policies and directives.
- Develop a crisis management training plan and an exercises plan to ensure personnel preparedness.
- Ensure the RCMT is capable, prepared, and continuously endowed with adequate and available resources.
Crisis Management Response
- Establishment and participation in the Region Crisis Management cell as a log keeper.
- Support any crisis cell activation across the region.
- Coordination when several crisis cells are activated.
Communication and Reporting
- Support the CMOs in being the point of contact and liaison for crisis management matters in the AME region.
- Provide a consolidated view on CM activities at regional level.
- Ensure a representative from all legal entities and from all divisions are represented in CM decisions.
Crisis anticipation and Lessons Learned
- Contribute to any assessment of risk-to-crisis on anticipation.
- Support the CMOs in performing the lessons learned activity after a crisis deactivation.
Your boarding pass:
- Master’s Degree in Political Science, International Relations, Security and Defense or Crisis Management.
- Strong communications skills at all levels of the organisation.
