Job Purpose: We are seeking a creative and meticulous videographer to join Shoemart, who will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing top-tier video content that aligns with the organization's creative and strategic objectives. This role will require a blend of technical expertise, artistic vision, and storytelling ability to craft compelling visuals that communicate messages, evoke emotions, and engage audiences across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Plan, shoot, and edit video content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and in-house use.
Produce diverse content formats, including product demos, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, promotional videos, and reels.
Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to conceptualize and storyboard video ideas.
Translate brand goals and campaign objectives into compelling visual stories.
Edit videos using industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) to deliver polished, professional-quality content.
Incorporate sound effects, background music, graphics, and animations to enhance video quality.
Trend Awareness:
Stay up to date with current social media trends, viral content formats, and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and impactful.
Equipment Management:
Maintain and manage video production equipment, ensuring it is always ready for use.
Recommend upgrades or new purchases to improve production quality.
In-House Needs:
Capture internal events, training sessions, or other activities for internal communication and documentation purposes.
Analytics & Optimization:
Analyze video performance metrics and adjust content strategies to improve engagement and reach.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a videographer, preferably with a focus on social media content.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous video work.
Proficiency in video editing software and basic knowledge of motion graphics tools.
Solid understanding of various social media platforms and their video requirements (aspect ratios, lengths, etc.).
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong storytelling skills and a creative mindset.
Experience with photography and basic lighting setups is a plus.
