Job Title: Vice President for Social Impact, Europe, Middle East and Africa

Role: Program Design & Partnerships

1. Lead and execute CFIG's social impact strategy across EEMEA, focusing on financial health, small business growth, and inclusive innovation.
2. Ensure robust governance of existing programs (e.g., Strive Central Asia) and develop new initiatives including a global Mobile Network Operator (MNO) strategy.
3. Collaborate with partners to execute global and pan-region programs in EEMEA (e.g., Mastercard Accion Partnership 2 [MAP 2], Strive Women, Reimagining Industry to Support Equality [RISE], Asian Development Bank).
4. Direct program design, implementation, and impact reporting adhering to Mastercard Impact Fund guidelines, driving scale and replication.
5. Identify, forge, and manage regional partnerships with governments, multilateral banks, NGOs, and other key stakeholders to accelerate the CFIG EEMEA strategy.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

1. Align regional efforts with senior leadership and cross-functional teams in EEMEA (e.g., EEMEA Leadership Team, government relations, public policy, marketing).
2. Advise Mastercard business units on collaboration opportunities to integrate commercial and philanthropic efforts.
3. Facilitate workshops, convenings, and volunteer engagement with key grantees and local teams.
4. Build relationships with customers and stakeholders, identifying opportunities for new social impact partnerships.

Thought Leadership & Communication

1. Position Mastercard as a leader in sustainable social impact, leveraging regional insights and thought leadership.
2. Develop and execute communication strategies to promote inclusive growth and catalyze action across the region.
3. Represent CFIG at high-level events and contribute to the development of original research and insights.

CFIG Regional Replication Strategy & Mastercard Foundation (MCF)

1. Develop the CFIG regional replication strategy in EEMEA, focusing on partnerships and identifying new opportunities in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
2. Foster deeper engagement and collaboration between Mastercard and the Mastercard Foundation, particularly on job creation and financial inclusion in Africa.
3. Serve as a liaison between Mastercard, external stakeholders, and the Mastercard Foundation to drive strategic synergies.

All About You

1. Extensive experience in program development, philanthropy, and grant-making.
2. Strong background in partnership development, especially within micro/small business and financial inclusion sectors.
3. Proven track record in managing diverse teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Expertise in the intersection of business and community needs, particularly with the unbanked and underbanked.
5. Advanced degree in business, policy, international development, or related fields.
6. Experience working in the GCC region and/or Africa and knowledge of financial services preferred.
7. Fluency in Arabic would be a bonus.
