As a Veterinary Doctor, you will provide medical care and treatment to animals in a veterinary clinic or hospital. Responsibilities
Examine animals and perform diagnostic tests to identify and treat illnesses.
Prescribe medications and administer treatments to animals.
Conduct surgical procedures, such as spaying, neutering, and soft tissue surgeries.
Vaccinate animals to prevent diseases and maintain health.
Provide emergency medical care to injured or critically ill animals.
Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care.
Keep accurate records of medical treatments, procedures, and patient histories.
Stay updated on the latest research, treatments, and industry practices in veterinary medicine.
Adhere to ethical and professional standards for veterinary practice.
Minimum Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
Valid license to practice veterinary medicine.
Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting.
Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common illnesses.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
