Position OverviewThe Vendor Manager will lead and manage strategic partnerships with Chinese sellers, helping them expand their reach through Tradeling's platform. You will serve as a vital link, guiding sellers to ensure smooth operations, compliance, and growth in cross-border e-commerce. This role requires deep knowledge of cross-border trade dynamics and the ability to navigate the cultural and business nuances of the China-MENA trade corridor.
- Build and maintain relationships with cross-border sellers from China, driving their success on the platform.
- Educate sellers on platform features, tools, and best practices to maximize their performance.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide tailored recommendations to enhance competitiveness.
- Resolve complex seller issues in collaboration with internal teams.
- Stay updated on trade regulations (customs, taxation, shipping) and advise sellers accordingly.
- Represent Tradeling at trade shows and events to attract new sellers and build brand awareness.
RequirementsHard Skills:- Bachelor's degree in business administration, International Trade, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in account management or business development, ideally in cross-border e-commerce.
- In-depth knowledge of cross-border trade regulations and logistics, particularly in the China-MENA corridor.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Excel, Tableau, or CRM platforms.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English for effective communication.
Soft Skills- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive mindset.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to bridge business practices between China and MENA.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts.
