Valve Workshop Manager

Job Summary: The Valve Workshop Manager will oversee the daily operations of the valve assembly and repair workshop, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in all processes. This role involves managing a team of technicians, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining high standards to meet customer satisfaction and generating business from the territory.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets.
2. Train and mentor the sales team to be high-performers.
3. Set clear objectives and KPIs for the sales team and monitor performance.
4. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
5. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
6. Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics.

Workshop Management & Operations:

1. Oversee valve repair and assembly activities, ensuring timely completion of projects.
2. Develop and implement efficient workflow processes.
3. Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets the highest standards and enforce safety protocols within the workshop.
4. Oversee inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
5. Identify cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
6. Manage client expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
7. Lead and motivate a team of technicians and support staff inside the workshop.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
2. Proven experience in workshop or operations management, preferably in the valve or related industries.
3. Strong understanding of valve products, manufacturing processes, and quality control standards.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a workshop environment.
