Collaborate with business owner and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with business owner
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
Create user personas, user journeys and site maps
Create wireframes and prototypes using specialist tools such as Sketch, InVision, Flinto and Axure, as well as the Adobe product suite
Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
Attend meetings to discuss and review progress on the project
Run workshops for user and internal stakeholders
Conduct remote and on-site usability testing with real users to ensure the end-product design provides users with the optimum experience in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and engagement
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Help build, define, and innovate a visual identity system—managing brand consistency across all touch-points in the customer journey through helping craft design specifications, standards, style guides, toolkits, and processes.
