UX Designer

Nair Systems is currently looking for a UX Designer for our UAE operations with the following Skill set and terms & conditions.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

1. Experience with designing quality consumer products, as well as enabling business capability and objectives through technology.
2. Entrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated, but also a team player with a professional presence.
3. Graphical and Visual Design skills using a diverse set of software such as Adobe suite, Figma, Sketch or other tools for product design.
4. Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping.
5. Knowledge of Agile software development process.

1. Must have previous experience of working in digital product design in financial services (banking/Fintech/digital transformation).
2. Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent area.
3. Experience managing a team of UI/UX designers.
4. Ability to communicate with different departments of a multi-national and dynamic organization.
5. Experience with design tools like Sketch, Adobe Suite and Figma.
6. Knowledge of Design Systems is a plus.

1. Be highly analytical as well as highly creative, and consistently demonstrate superb design, writing and presentation skills.
2. Foster collaboration both inside and outside the team, evangelizes and promotes UX within the company, and can juggle several high-level projects while delivering A-level work on all of them.
3. Justify design decisions based on a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies.
4. Thrive in a work environment that requires strong independent problem-solving skills, self-direction, and innovative thinking coupled with an aptitude and affinity for team collaboration and open communication.
5. Clearly articulate design needs and key decisions to business stakeholders across markets and brands collaborating closely with Product Leads and Product Managers.
6. Design elegant and delightful product experiences as part of cross-functional Agile product teams.
7. Research, identify and articulate customer needs.
8. Collaborate & lead other designers within and cross-team to problem solve design challenges and maintain a level of design consistency and coherence across products.
9. Leading regular creative sessions and an environment of learning amongst the team members to guide them through their quest of better user experience and creative user interfaces.
