Role Overview:
We're looking for a versatile UX Designer who can bring creative energy, customer empathy, and problem-solving skills to the table. You'll be embedded within the bank's design and experience team, contributing directly to improving the customer journey across both retail and business banking platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize the full design thinking toolbox: From customer research to identifying pain points in the customer experience.
Collaborate: Lead brainstorming sessions, problem-solving workshops, and ideation meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Hands-on design: Craft wireframes, user flows, and prototypes that bring ideas to life.
Drive research and benchmarking: Regularly assess local and global competitors to ensure the bank stays ahead of the curve.
Partner closely: Work with external vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth collaboration and delivery.
Advocate for design excellence: Support the design chapter by delivering useful, beautiful, and meaningful digital experiences.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: At least 5 years of UX design experience in the Middle East, with a strong understanding of customer research, UI design, and experience in banking or financial sectors.
Language Skills: Fluent in English and/or Arabic, so you can navigate diverse teams and client segments.
Design Mastery: You're adept with design tools and methodologies, know your way around wireframing, and have a knack for solving complex problems creatively.
Collaborative Spirit: You thrive in cross-functional teams, love running workshops, and can manage multiple stakeholders with ease.
Adaptability: You can manage and prioritize multiple tasks, responsibilities, and deliverables, and you're comfortable working directly with clients and external partners.
Cultural Awareness: You understand the Middle Eastern market and customer nuances, and can integrate this into your design thinking.
