Job Description:

The Information Security Manager performs two core functions for the enterprise: overseeing the operations of the enterprise’s security solutions and establishing an enterprise security stance through policy, architecture, and training processes. Secondary tasks include the selection of appropriate security solutions and oversight of any vulnerability audits and assessments.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Create and maintain the enterprise’s security architecture design.
2. Create and maintain the enterprise’s security awareness training program.
3. Create and maintain the enterprise’s security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures).
4. Create and maintain the enterprise’s Crisis Management and Data Privacy Programs.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the security industry, including awareness of new or revised security solutions and improved security processes.
6. Oversee the deployment, integration, and initial configuration of all new security solutions and enhancements to existing security solutions.
7. Select and acquire additional security solutions or enhancements to existing security solutions.
8. Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data in various systems and repositories.
9. Ensure the enforcement of enterprise security documents.
10. Supervise investigations into problematic activity and communicate with senior management.
11. Supervise the design and execution of risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
12. Perform regular security awareness training for all employees.
13. Engage in ongoing communications with peers in IT and various business groups.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar capacity with a large company.

Certifications:

• GIAC Security Essentials Certification
• GIAC Security Leadership Certification
• ISACA Certified Information Security Manager

Knowledge & Experience:

• Extensive experience in enterprise security architecture design.
• Extensive experience in enterprise security document creation.
• Experience in designing and delivering employee security awareness training.
• Experience in developing Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans.
• Experience with SIEM, DLP, NAC, CASB, SSO, PAM, Vulnerability Assessment solutions.
• Strong understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and other network administration protocols.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct research into IT security issues and products.
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
