Urea Operator

Objective:

Monitor and operate the equipment and the process in the assigned area of Urea-1 /Granulation-1, in accordance with SOPs, policy, procedures, and operating instructions. Maintain the plant parameters in safe conditions. Carry out instructions to regulate operating conditions as necessary. Conduct regular monitoring of equipment performance. Inform the senior operator of any abnormality, equipment failure, abnormal noises, unsafe conditions, vibrations, leaks, etc.

Plant Operation Details:

• Operate under the instruction of the Urea-1 Shift Supervisor/Urea-1 Senior Operators various systems and equipment in Urea-1 /Granulation-1 Plant. These consist of:
• 2300 MT/day Urea synthesis: (Includes HP reactor, HP stripper, HP pool condenser, and HP scrubber).
• HP ammonia and HP carbamate pumps of centrifugal type.
• LP section: (includes rectifying column, LPCC, flash vessels, desorbed column, hydrolyzer, and their related pumps and tanks).
• Evaporation section: (includes 1st and 2nd evaporators and urea solution and melt pumps (Bungartz pumps) and related tanks).
• Granulation Unit: 2500 MT/day design capacity granulation unit of UFT process. (Includes granulator, first bed cooler, bucket elevators, crushers, vibrating screens, final bed cooler, refrigeration units, and Chemical (UF85) dosing facilities).

Education:

Completion of secondary technical (12 years) education or Technical Diploma.

Experience:

Minimum 04 years diversified experience in process operations in fertilizer, chemical, or a related industry.

Skills:

1. Knowledge of the fertilizer industry.
2. Knowledge of legislations, regulations, policies, and procedures of plant operations.
3. Fluent in written and spoken English.

Note: Candidates must have experience in Fertilizer Companies.
