UI UX Designer -Digital Banking-Fintech

We have an urgent requirement for a UI/UX Designer with Digital Banking experience for one of the banks in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Experience: 6-10 years

Required Experience: Banking and Fintech Experience

Responsibilities:

• Drive the end-to-end product design, including discovery, ideation, conceptualizing, detailed design, prototypes, and validation, within cross-functional product teams.

Key Accountabilities:

• Be highly analytical as well as highly creative, demonstrating superb design, writing, and presentation skills.
• Foster collaboration both inside and outside the team, evangelizing and promoting UX within the company, managing several high-level projects while delivering top-quality work.
• Justify design decisions based on a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies.
• Thrive in a work environment that requires strong independent problem-solving skills, self-direction, and innovative thinking, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.
• Clearly articulate design needs and key decisions to business stakeholders across markets and brands, collaborating closely with Product Leads and Product Managers.
• Design elegant and delightful product experiences as part of cross-functional Agile product teams.
• Research, identify, and articulate customer needs.
• Collaborate and lead other designers within and across teams to solve design challenges and maintain a level of design consistency and coherence across products.
• Lead regular creative sessions and foster an environment of learning among team members to enhance user experience and creative user interfaces.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

• Experience with designing quality consumer products, enabling business capability and objectives through technology.
• Entrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated, yet a team player with a professional presence.
• Graphical and Visual Design skills using a diverse set of software such as Adobe Suite, Figma, Sketch, or other tools for product design.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, and rapid prototyping.
• Knowledge of Agile software development processes.

Previous Experience:

• Must have previous experience working in digital product design in financial services (banking/Fintech/digital transformation).
• Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent area.
• Experience managing a team of UI/UX designers.
• Ability to communicate with different departments in a multi-national and dynamic organization.
• Experience with design tools like Sketch, Adobe Suite, and Figma.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, and rapid prototyping.
• Knowledge of Agile software development processes.

Knowledge of Design Systems is a plus.
