The Role: As a Junior UI / UX Designer, you will work closely with our design and product teams to create intuitive and visually appealing user experiences. This role is perfect for someone early in their design career who is excited to learn, grow, and make an impact in a dynamic, fast-paced startup.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in designing user interfaces for Sorbet’s platform.
2. Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate design ideas.
3. Collaborate with senior designers and developers to improve the overall user experience.
4. Incorporate user feedback and testing results to refine designs.
5. Stay updated on the latest trends in UI / UX design and Web3 technologies.

Requirements:

1. Interest in UI / UX design and Web3 technologies.
2. Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Framer, or Adobe Creative Suite.
3. Basic understanding of design principles and methodologies.
4. Willingness to learn about blockchain and the freelance economy.
5. Ability to work in a collaborative, remote environment.
6. Native or fluent English speaker.

Additional Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a UI / UX Designer or similar role.
• Portfolio of design projects.
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision).
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field.
