Overview of the role
Responsible for producing engaging and high-quality content and the uniqueness of the IKEA Brand, inside and outside the IKEA store across various channels & platforms. This role involves creating original content, adapting artwork for different formats, and providing live social media coverage for events. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and a deep understanding of social media.
What you will do
Content Creation:
- Develop original Multimedia content ideas and produce compelling text, images, and videos for social media platforms.
- Ensure that all content aligns with the brand’s voice, tone, and visual identity.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends and incorporate them into content strategies.
Artwork Adaptation:
- Adapt existing artwork and graphics to fit various social media formats and requirements.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure consistency and quality in visual content.
- Optimize graphics and videos for different social media channels to maximize engagement.
Social Media Coverage:
- Provide live social media coverage for events, including posting updates, engaging with followers, and capturing real-time content.
Content Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure a consistent and timely flow of content.
- Coordinate with other departments to align content with broader marketing and communication strategies.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to create cohesive and effective content.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and strategies for social media content.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and approval of content plans.
