Mission

The ILS Manager will oversee and coordinate all Integrated Logistics Support activities for a strategic naval defense project in the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure that systems and solutions are efficient, reliable, and sustainable throughout the product's lifecycle, in line with contractual requirements and local regulations.

Key Accountabilities

1. ILS Management: Plan, develop, and implement ILS activities, including maintenance analysis, spare parts management, personnel training, and technical documentation.
2. Project Coordination: Manage resources and activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
3. Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Interface with local and international clients, partners, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
4. Lifecycle Analysis: Assess support requirements throughout the lifecycle of naval systems.
5. Compliance: Ensure all activities meet local and international regulations and safety standards.
6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate logistics and maintenance risks in complex projects.
7. Reporting: Develop detailed project reports and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

Education

Bachelor's Degree: Engineering

General Qualifications

1. Education: Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Project Management, or related fields. Management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are a plus.
2. Experience: At least 5 years in ILS or logistics project management in the naval defense sector, preferably in international settings.
3. Technical Skills: Deep understanding of naval systems and logistics support requirements. Experience with LSA and technical documentation management.
4. Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. Leadership and team management in complex environments.
5. Languages: Fluent in English; Arabic is a significant advantage.
6. Availability: Willingness to travel and reside in the UAE for the project duration.
