The Typist will provide essential typing and clerical support to the Public Relations team focusing on preparing official documents, managing government-related tasks, and ensuring accurate and efficient processing of immigration and ministry-related documentation. This role requires a proactive individual with exposure to government sector operations.
Responsibilities:
Type, format, and proofread official documents, letters, and contracts related to immigration and ministry processes.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of applications, approvals, and renewals for visas, licenses, and other governmental permits.
Handle document submissions to government authorities and follow up on their processing statuses.
Maintain and organize electronic and hard copy filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.
Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and deadlines by preparing reports and documentation on time.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information for government-related tasks.
Assist in the translation of documents when needed.
Stay updated on changes in immigration and ministry policies and procedures to advise the team accordingly.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Diploma in Office Administration or a related field.
Additional Information:
Experience:
2 years of experience as a typist, preferably in a government-facing role.
Experience in immigration PRO services or government documentation processes.
Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute with high accuracy.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail and ability to proofread documents.
Familiarity with UAE immigration systems and e-services portals.
