Truck Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Truck Driver to operate our fleet of vehicles and deliver goods across Dubai and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe driving, excellent knowledge of local roads, and the ability to manage delivery schedules. You will play a key role in ensuring timely, efficient, and secure transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive trucks to transport goods to designated locations safely and on time within Dubai and across the UAE.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are secure and intact.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and reports.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring a safe driving environment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck and equipment.
• Assist with route planning and making recommendations to optimize delivery schedules.

Qualifications:

• Valid UAE driving license (Heavy Duty License) and a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a truck driver (experience in the UAE is preferred).
• Good knowledge of Dubai and UAE roads, traffic laws, and regulations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads when necessary.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight delivery schedules.
• Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions and occasional long hours.
