Tray Fitter

Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine installation requirements.
2. Install and assemble tray systems including cable trays and support structures in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
3. Conduct inspections of tray installations to ensure quality and adherence to industry standards.
4. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to discuss project progress and any potential issues.
5. Perform routine maintenance and repair of existing tray systems to ensure optimal functionality.
6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
7. Document work performed and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
8. Assist in training and mentoring junior fitters and apprentices as needed.

Qualifications:

1. High school & ITI.
2. Proven experience as a Tray Fitter or in a similar role within the oil and gas construction industry.
3. Strong understanding of tray installation techniques and safety standards.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
5. Proficient in using hand and power tools relevant to tray fitting.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Information:

1. May require working at heights or in confined spaces.
2. Overtime may be required based on project demands.
3. Adherence to safety regulations is mandatory at all times.
