Travel Retail Manager / Store Manager
Job description
Salary: AED 7,000 - AED 8,000 + Commissions
Designation: Store Manager/ Duty Manager
Role Overview:
Manages day-to-day operations of one or more stores within the airport, ensuring operational excellence and optimal performance across all functions.
Key Areas of Responsibility
1. Drive Sales and Maximize Profitability
- Oversee and deliver store/outlet sales performance against targets.
- Implement and facilitate product and sales strategies effectively.
- Consistently communicate sales goals and targets to the team.
- Provide daily updates to the team on Conversion Rate and Average Transaction Value to ensure alignment and motivation.
- Prepare and monitor monthly sales plans.
- Monitor sales performance from cash points to identify trends and areas for improvement.
2. Deliver WOW Experience
- Create a unique, genuine, and memorable customer experience that delights and engages every shopper.
3. Develop Team/People
- Foster an entrepreneurial spirit and ownership mindset within the team.
- Demonstrate consistent appreciation and encouragement to build morale.

- Establish and maintain succession plans to ensure leadership continuity.
4. Ensure Operational Excellence
- Execute and enforce compliance with store SOPs, including:
- Store Checklist.
- Cost control measures.
- Roster and manpower planning.
- POS and inventory management.
- Prepare and manage rotas to optimize staffing levels and coverage.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in cash collection and banking reconciliation.
- Reconcile ADAC vouchers and ensure all transactions comply with audit requirements.
- Set up and maintain compelling visual merchandising displays for promotions and seasonal activities.
5. Drive Innovation and Productivity
- Encourage and implement innovative ideas to enhance productivity.
- Motivate the team to contribute to ongoing productivity improvements.
6. Promotion Implementation and Analysis
- Coordinate and execute promotional activities, ensuring accuracy in materials and displays.
- Monitor and analyse promotion performance based on sales data and customer feedback.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
