As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee and optimize our daily operations.

Job Overview:
The Travel Agency Operations Supervisor will oversee the smooth functioning of daily operations, ensuring that all processes run efficiently and that clients receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in travel services, operational management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the travel agency, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
  2. Team Supervision: Manage and lead a team of travel agents, coordinators, and support staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and mentorship.
  3. Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns, managing escalations, and improving service delivery.
  4. Process Improvement: Analyze and streamline operational workflows, implementing best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  5. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with travel service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure that vendor agreements are upheld.
  6. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of travel itineraries, packages, and services to ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations.
  7. Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with industry regulations and company policies, including data protection and safety protocols.
  8. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on team performance, client feedback, and operational metrics for senior management.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in travel operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  2. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  3. Certification: Should be certified by IATA (Basic or Advanced).
  4. Skills:
    1. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    2. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
    3. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    4. Knowledge of travel booking systems (e.g., Amadeus) and customer relationship management software.
    5. Familiarity with international travel regulations and industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with Amadeus GDS.
  2. Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
  3. Knowledge of multiple languages.
