Job Title: Training Manager 3M Fall Protection Training Center – Abu Dhabi (m/f/x)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

We are looking for a Training Manager to join 3M for a 3M Fall Protection Training Center in Abu Dhabi. You will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

1. Implementing Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems, policy and procedures
2. Delivering End-user high level trainings, site audits, and surveys
3. Developing a value proposition to federate and grow our training business
4. Establishing a network of sub-contractor trainers
5. Reviewing, planning, organizing, and evaluating course programs and service delivery, in collaboration with the Training coordinator
6. Delivering credibility and exceeding QOR commitments / training sales targets for assigned territories
7. Working closely with our channel partners to leverage knowledge and increase sales
8. Supporting PSD / SIBG team in cross-pollination

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or higher from an accredited university
2. English language capabilities; Arabic would be a plus
3. Physical ability to perform work at height and confined spaces
4. Good teaching skills (previous teaching experience or equivalent will be a plus)
5. IOSH (or equivalent qualification in managing safely)
6. Valid driving license and ability to drive without restriction (Middle East region and to government sites)

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

1. Fall protection industry experience and knowledge
2. Experience and certification in working at height and confined space including equipment procedures and practice
3. Competent Person Inspection of PPE
4. First Aid certificate
5. Knowledge of Abu Dhabi government regulation for Training is a plus
6. Emirati nationality preferred

Location: Abu Dhabi

Travel: May include up to 50% international

Type of work: Hybrid (approx. 1 day per week Home Office / Office)

Relocation: Not authorized
