As a Training Manager reporting into the Training Manager -Design 360 Department working from our Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai

Responsibilities include

  • The Training Executive will support the development and delivery of training programs within the architectural design studio. This role is focused on providing administrative and operational support for training activities, ensuring that all team members have the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong organizational skills, and a passion for promoting continuous learning within the architectural field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Training Program Development: Assist the Training Manager in designing and developing training programs aimed at enhancing the skills of architects, designers, and other studio staff.
  • Coordinate the creation of training materials, resources, and presentations related to architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, BIM, etc.) and other technical and creative skills.
  • Ensure that all training content is up-to-date and aligns with the latest industry trends, building codes, and best practices.
  • Training Coordination & Administration: Organize and schedule training sessions, workshops, and events for studio staff, ensuring smooth logistics and communication.
  • Maintain records of employee training participation, including attendance, certifications, and feedback.
  • Manage the administrative tasks related to the training process, including registration, resource allocation, and tracking of completed training.
  • Coordinate with external trainers, vendors, or partners for specialized training sessions as needed.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist with the onboarding of new hires, ensuring that they are familiar with company processes, tools, and the training program offerings.
  • Provide administrative support for the orientation and integration of new employees into the architectural studio, including setting up accounts, distributing materials, and organizing training schedules.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and track employee progress and participation in training programs.
  • Compile and prepare training reports for management, including feedback, outcomes, and recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Employee Engagement & Development: Support initiatives aimed at fostering a culture of learning and development within the studio.
  • Promote available training programs to staff and encourage participation in professional development activities.
  • Assist employees in identifying relevant training opportunities based on their career growth aspirations and project needs.
  • Training Logistics & Materials Management: Maintain an organized system for training materials, documents, and resources (both physical and digital).
  • Ensure that all training facilities, equipment, and tools are prepared and available ahead of each session.
  • Update and refresh training materials based on feedback and industry changes.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Act as a liaison between employees, trainers, and management to ensure training needs are met and expectations are clear.
  • Communicate training schedules, updates, and feedback effectively to relevant stakeholders.
  • Research & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends in architectural design and learning tools, recommending new training initiatives as appropriate.
  • Assist the Training Manager in evaluating and improving existing training programs based on feedback and performance analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • 5-6 years of experience in training coordination, administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in an architectural or design studio setting is preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
