We are currently recruiting for a Learning and Development Specialist for our client to be based out of their Dubai office.

General Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support in setting annual goals and performance indicators and regularly track progress for the office.
  2. Contribute to the preparation of the operational plan and monitor its periodic implementation for the office.
  3. Measure and analyze strategic and operational performance indicators and propose necessary recommendations for the office.
  4. Assist in preparing, reviewing, and developing policies, procedures, and regulations in line with the center's needs and best practices.
  5. Contribute to the preparation of periodic reports and the annual performance report for the office.
  6. Provide support in preparing the office budget and submit it to the direct manager.
  7. Analyze risks, identify them, and prepare management plans in coordination with organizational units.
  8. Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor within the scope of the role.

Specialized Tasks:

  1. Work with departments to identify and analyze the training needs of employees and develop an effective training plan.
  2. Conduct an annual training needs analysis to identify areas and fields for training and development that the center needs to focus on.
  3. Prepare the annual training and development plan for the center and individual development plans for employees based on their specialties and job requirements.
  4. Prepare the annual training budget for the center's employees, including training programs in various fields and levels, and develop and update it based on the training needs analysis.
  5. Analyze the results of training impact measurement and provide recommendations for updating the annual training plan.
  6. Analyze the results of operational training and development indicators and related enablers and develop improvement plans.
  7. Review best practices in training and development and suggest improvements to work methods based on these practices.
  8. Share the annual training plan with the relevant employees and their direct managers through various communication channels.
  9. Implement and follow up on the training plan for the residency doctors program and university student care programs.
  10. Collaborate with the office manager to develop training and development policies and procedures for employees and ensure the efficient and effective execution of training.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field.
  2. Strong background in medical/healthcare industry.
