Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide on-call support to client staff for Advanced Traffic Data Analytics platform usage
• Analyze and interpret traffic speed and travel time data to generate actionable insights
• Identify congestion patterns, bottlenecks, and their root causes using advanced analytics tools
• Create customized reports and visualizations tailored to different stakeholder needs
• Conduct before/after studies to evaluate the effectiveness of traffic interventions
• Develop and maintain route and corridor monitoring profiles for critical roadway segments
• Transform complex traffic data into clear, actionable recommendations

Additional Traffic Engineering Responsibilities

• Support the development of Traffic Impact Studies (TIS) for various development projects
• Assist in conducting capacity analysis and Level of Service (LOS) assessments for intersections and corridors
• Contribute to transport planning studies including demand forecasting and network analysis
• Support parking design and assessment projects, including parking demand studies
• Assist in internal circulation analysis for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
• Help prepare traffic simulation models using industry-standard software
• Contribute to data collection efforts and field studies as needed
• Assist in preparing technical reports and presentations

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in traffic engineering or transportation planning
• Strong analytical skills and data interpretation abilities
• Fluency in Arabic and English (Arabic fluency is mandatory)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts in an accessible manner
• Interest in traffic analytics and smart mobility solutions
• Strong knowledge of traffic engineering principles
