1. Organization Unit Purpose

The Middle Office function is an important function that caters to customers across various segments in Corporate Banking and Business Banking. The Mid Office unit is responsible for a number of control and support activities for Receivable Finance and Supply Chain Finance Products.

Some of the key activities handled by the team are as follows:

  • Buyer Onboarding for Receivable and Supply Chain financing products
  • Management & Dunning Services
  • Credit Insurance and other insurance-related activities
  • Surveys for Receivable and Supply Chain financing products, including Import Factoring

2. Job Purpose

The Job Position exists as the Manager for Mid Office to achieve the Bank’s goals of Monitoring and Support functions on Receivable and Supply Chain Finance Business, while delivering on Customers’ requirements. Some of the key activities of the Job Holder include:

  • Overseeing the activities of the Mid-office team to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Implementing new initiatives to enhance the controls and efficiency of Mid Office processes.
  • Developing skills and knowledge on Trade and Receivable finance within the Middle Office team.
  • Providing advisory and market knowledge to stakeholders on Factoring and Receivable Finance where required.
