Trade Marketing Manager

Dubai

Summary: Our client is looking for a trade marketing manager to join their team in Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identifying and exploring new areas of opportunity for brand penetration and growth.
  2. Ideation and initiation of various activation plans to generate tertiary sales (Consumer Pull) at all channels.
  3. Preparation of activation calendar and implementation of the same, and planning of event calendar in line with the brand.
  4. Support to sales team to generate secondary sales through trade schemes (Customer Push).
  5. Control and effective utilization of the budget with proper phasing and evaluation of opportunity costs.
  6. Develop and execute effective strategies based on global success models and on understanding of customers, categories, and consumers with the objective of maximizing profitability.
  7. Develop short and long-term category strategies based on thorough understanding of market conditions and trends.
  8. Build analysis and work with sales and customer marketing to develop/agree clear, specific plans for corrective action.
  9. Champion new product market entry and execution, including development of sales presentation/materials and tracking/analysing 4Ps in-market implementation.
  10. Development of trade spend guidelines, performing top-line allocations and reviewing and authorizing planned field trade spend.

Education & Experience: MBA with over 10 years of experience in the FMCG industry.
